We are looking for private hosts: parents of the young people singing along and choir and orchestra members who can accommodate colleagues during the concert week.

A new path with Martín Palmeri
Discovering new soundscapes and taking them on a new path: After several years of development, ten months of rehearsals, three months of school projects, and a week of school workshops with public concerts, the international pilot project “Argentina meets Nidwalden and Ticino” will be launched in 2024. It connects education and culture, amateurs and professionals, the north and the south, tango dance and the ensemble with the singing audience.

Concerts and school workshops
The cultural-educational pilot project will be developed from February to November 2024 in school classes and in decentralized rehearsal rooms in Ticino, Central Switzerland and Germany.
In school workshops, young people get to know the composer and pianist Martín Palmeri and his “Misa Tango” better and bring the song “El Llamado” by Ticino-born Alfonsina Storni, written especially for them, to concert performance.
Everything will come together during the rehearsal weekends of October 26-27, 2024 in Ticino and November 9-10, 2024 in Nidwalden, as well as five public concerts and three school workshops from November 10 to 17, 2024.
